PPG Industrial Building Coatings recently teamed up with the Shanghai Real Estate Industry Association and the Building Energy Conservation Promotion Professional Committee to hold a unique PPG Shenniuli paint product exhibition at the well-known Fahrenheit Gallery in Shanghai. They introduced the Shenniuli NPS nano series products, which are the first to apply nanotechnology to coatings, attracting many architects and real estate developers in the industry to experience the charm of Shenniuli paint together.
The newly launched PPGNPS nano coating system is the first building coating on the market to adopt nanotechnology. It is a revolutionary innovation in anti fouling and anti water properties, which can bring unparalleled technical and aesthetic effects compared to traditional technologies. So far, both matte and elastic coatings on the market are unable to fully resist pollution and dust, and these problems have been solved with the emergence of NPS. The water-based and environmentally friendly performance of this system also continues PPG's consistent strategy of pollution-free development for building coatings. Ms. Yuan Jieyi, General Manager of PPG China Automotive Repair Coatings, Architectural Coatings, and Light Industrial Coatings Division, stated that PPG has consistently achieved technological breakthroughs in the field of architectural coatings, such as zero volatile organic compound (VOC) coatings and water-based wood coatings. The successful launch of PPGNPS nano coating system once again highlights PPG's strength in developing new technologies.
In 2008, PPG Shineli Paint, together with more than 50 French artists from Creative Beauty City, used PPG Shineli Paint to paint a 5000 square meter, globally large architectural simulation mural on the exterior wall of Carrefour, Wuning Road, Shanghai, and used the exterior wall thermal insulation paint system.
