Usage of multi-layer bottles
There are currently 5-layer bottles in the United States, priced at approximately 1.2 RMB per bottle. There are three layers of beer bottles in Europe. Mainly used for filling draft beer.
Domestically, the three-layer bottle launched by Shanghai Zijiang Group can meet the filling requirements for pure draft beer. Zhongfu Group's three-layer bottle has launched beer bottles that can be pasteurized. The small bottle beer produced continuously has been in use for more than a year, and the product is positioned as a good night beer, sold on the front line of China's coastal areas. According to our current understanding, as of September 2004, the following beer companies in China were producing beer filled in PET bottles.
1. Zhuhai Qilin Unified Beer Co., Ltd. (three-layer bottle, 400mL, cooked beer)
2. Shijiazhuang Sanjiu Brewery (three-layer bottle, 400mL, cooked beer)
3. Yueyang, Hubei (three-layer bottle, 1600mL, fresh beer)
4. Hubei Lantian Beer Group (single-layer bottle, 2300mL, fresh beer)
5. Zhangjiagang Brewery (960mL draft beer, 2000mL fresh beer)
6. Mount Wuyi Brewery (single-layer nano material bottle, 500mL cooked beer)
Beer and bottle factories in the following regions are exploring the feasibility of using PET bottles
1. A brewery in Shanghai (single layer bottle nano bottle, 500mL cooked beer, draft beer)
2. Shandong Laizhou Brewery (three-layer bottle, 1600mL draft beer)
3. Qianjiang Beer Group (three-layer bottle, draft beer)
4. A brewery in Jiujiang, Jiangxi Province (single layer nano material bottle, 500mL cooked beer)
5. A brewery in Jinggangshan area, Jiangxi Province (single layer nano material bottle, 500mL cooked beer)
6. A brewery in Yunnan Province (three-layer bottles and single-layer nano material bottles, cooked beer, draft beer)
7. Lhasa Brewery (three-layer bottles, single-layer nano material bottles, cooked beer)
Xiamen Huaxin Mao Packaging Container Company, jointly established by Zhongfu Industrial Co., Ltd. and Xiamen Green Spring Industrial Corporation, will soon produce PET bottles in large quantities.
The price of single-layer bottles is about 70% of that of multi-layer bottles, and the price of PET bottles made of nanomaterials in China is lower than that of foreign products; For the beer industry that is currently overly competitive in China, it is more approachable.
2、 Improve bottle transparency, glossiness, and recyclability of colored bottles;
The use of phase separation agents, acetaldehyde dissolution barrier agents, and ultraviolet barrier agents has made current PET beer bottles have good transparency, excellent ultraviolet barrier properties (less than 15% of light passing through below 400nm), and good performance in preventing acetaldehyde dissolution.
In 2002, the production of PET bottles in Japan was 413000 tons. Due to the implementation of the Container Packaging Recycling Law (1995) and the recent Waste Recycling Law, the recycling rate of PET bottles reached 53.4% in 2002. In this context, in November 2003, the "bottle to bottle" of Teijin Group Corporation in Japan crushed and washed the old bottles that were about to be recycled, and underwent a series of chemical processes to convert them into regenerated PET resin, which was then used to make new PET bottles.
In the recycling and reuse of PET bottles, domestic researchers have developed woven threads for use in fishing nets and net cages for aquaculture; We are currently researching the processing of recycled bottles into modified engineering plastics, such as automotive fuel tanks and accessories around water tanks.
Non woven fabric: used in the manufacturing of automotive tires and hydraulic engineering;
Textile fibers are a mature technology in Japan, and the workwear for brewery employees is made by blending recycled bottle fibers;
PET heat shrink film, currently used in China as low-density polyethylene material, has risen in price from 9000 yuan/ton in early 2004 to 16000 yuan/ton currently. The cost pressure on breweries is significant, such as the development of heat shrink film made from recycled bottles, which is estimated to have a market price of 13000 yuan/ton and can save 3000 yuan per ton;
PET heat shrink label (used for labeling glass beer bottles), this technology has been widely adopted in Japan. With the use of new materials, the price of labeling for a 500mL bottle is over 0.3 yuan per bottle. If recycled materials are used for production, the price will be significantly reduced (by about 30-40%), providing a safe outlet for old glass beer bottles with strength close to the lower limit and poor appearance that have been recycled many times. The use of heat shrinkable labels (wrapped from the bottom of the bottle mouth to the bottom) will effectively reduce the probability of beer bottle explosion and injury incidents.
